Lasagne for 4
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 500g mince
- Jar of Lasagne sauce
- Lasagne sheets
- 2.5 tablespoons Cornflour
- 500ml Milk
- Quater of a block of cheese grated
Method
- In a pan, heat the oil and cook the onion for 5 minutes until soft
- Add the mince to the pan and cook until brown
- Drain off any extra liquid and add a jar of Lasagne sauce
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes
- While it is simmering, mix up the cheese sauce
- Put a layer of meat at least 1cm thick in the bottom of the dish
- Lay the Lasagne sheets to cover the meat, but don’t overlap them
- Put a thin layer of cheese sauce over the top
- Repeat steps 6-8
- Put in the oven for 30 mins at 170 Celsius
Cheese sauce Method
- Add 500ml milk to a mixing jug
- Add 2.5 table spoons of cornflour and stir
- Add the cheese and stir more
- Microwave for about 3 minutes and stir
- Keep putting back in a minute at a time and stirring until it thickens (allow plenty of space in the top of the jug for it to expand)
