Ginger Bread
Ingredients
- 280g syrup
- 450g flour
- 1 tbsp ground Ginger
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 225g brown sugar
- 170g margarine
- 280ml Milk
- 1 egg
Method
- Mix the dry ingredients
- Warm he sugar, fat an syrup but do not allow to become too hot
- Warm the milk and beat the egg
- Combine all the ingredients
- Crease tin and line the bottom
- Bake at 160 degrees for 1 hour
